Volcanic Velvet

Dark rum, chocolate and warming ginger and Hawaiian Chili Peppah create a cocktail that’s rich, sultry and just a little dangerous.



Ingredients

2. 5 oz. Kaua`i Cacao Rum

1 oz. Silver Siren Ginger Syrup

1 barspoon of whipping cream or half & half (non dairy version use coconut cream)

2 droppers Silver Siren Hawaiian Chili Peppah & Ginger Bitters

Method

Chill glass with ice and water.  Combine all ingredients in shaker and dry shake (no ice).  Add ice and shake vigorously to chill.  Empty ice water from glass, strain in cocktail, garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and two drops of bitters.

Siren Tip: Use freshly grated nutmeg or a thin orange peel over the top. That bright aromatic note lifts the chocolate and keeps the drink from feeling too heavy.
