Midnight Garden

Cool cucumber, fragrant sage and bright gin create a cocktail that feels like stepping into a moonlit garden after the rain.

Ingredients

2 oz. Gin

¾ oz. Silver Siren Cucumber Syrup

½ oz. Lime Juice

1 egg white

4 fresh Sage leaves

Method

Chill coupe or martini glass by filling with water and ice (or keep a few in the freezer and look like a pro).  Combine Gin, Cucumber Syrup, egg white and 3 sage leaves in shaker and dry shake vigorously (no ice).  Add ice to shaker and shake again until well chilled.  Empty ice water from glass and double-strain cocktail into the glass.  Garnish with remaining sage leaf.

Siren Tip: Clap the sage gently between your hands before adding it to the shaker. This releases the aromatic oils without making the drink taste overly herbal. Slap the garnish leaf bore placing in glass for same aromatic finishing touch.
